I have a passion for and a delight in the work I do.  I am humbled and grateful that for the past 30 years my clients have allowed me into their lives, to walk with them and to assist them in gaining insight, mastery and skills in moving forward in their lives.

I have a Masters of Science in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University (NYC, NY USA), The School of Social Work (class of 1980).  I have done post-Masters training at the CG Jung Institute (Evanston, IL, USA) and The Psychosynthesis Center of Wisconsin (Madison, WI, USA).  I have training in Jungian dream work, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness based therapy and psychodynamic oriented psychotherapy.

I listen extremely well ----- I listen to the many layers of what is said, what is not said and what is being searched for.  In our work, you will have both my undivided attention and my ear.  As we listen and work together, new insights and new strategies will emerge.

For the past 30 years  I have worked exclusively in adult mental health -- as a clinician, administrator and clinical supervisor for other mental health professionals.

Currently, I direct five programs in adult psychiatry for Alberta Health Services (Calgary, Alberta, Canada) and provide Clinical Supervision to Colleagues in Clinical Social Work.  I am also in private practice here in Calgary.

I am a Registered Clinical Social Worker with the Alberta College of Social Workers and I am an Approved Clinical Supervisor with that same College.  I am a member of the Clinical SocialWork Committee of this Provincial regulatory board.  I am bound by the Ethics of that Provincial College.  I have completed Level I training through The Faculty of Social Work at the University of Toronto to practice cyber counseling.

I am licensed to practice across Canada and I am able to offer cyber counselling in the United States.
